What was your experience gettting highlights/color at a beauty school?

I have had my hair hightlighted with blond for over 12 years. I have always gone to a professional. To be honest,I just can’t afford $120 anymore. I am now a stay at home mom. I have made an appt at a Paul Mitchell beauty school for this Friday & I’m a bit nervous!
